These are the softwares or tools used in the daily DevOps activities: GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, SonarQube, Dependency-check, ELK, Dynatrace, MindX properietry tools and other custom shell scripts.

Certificates typically need renewal every one to two years, depending on their type and security requirements. Regular renewal ensures that cryptographic standards remain current and prevents expired certificates, which could compromise data security and system integrity.
We use an automation job to track certificate expiry dates, alerting us well in advance of upcoming renewals. This automation ensures that we avoid service disruptions and maintain secure communication by renewing certificates before they expire.
We do perform patching activity, once in a month typically in the first week of month. Where we will apply the patches to all the softwares used in the PROD env. We do apply the patches released in the previous month (current month-1) mechanism for safe and secure. We will also upgrade the softwares if the patch is not avialble and they released the new version of software. This activity will be done by DevOps post implementing and monitoring the pre-production environment for few days.

We follow automatic deployment process by using the CI/CD pipeline with multiple tools to deploy the application to the servers.
We use to generate reports by using automation jobs and below are the three reportings which we will send to client.
Daily Report: There was a automated job which will run daily and provided the consolidated report containing the servers health, CPU usuage, Instances/Softwraes status, Count of exception/errors of each API, Waiting/stuck files and disk usuage related information
Weekly Report: This report was generated by automated job on a weekly basis which typically will run on Every thursday containing consolidated information related to
Volume of transactions for each end point of the Application, Count of exceptions/errors of each API, Certificates which are going to expire in the next 30 days.
monthly report: This report was generated by an automated job on a montly basis which typically will run on the 1st of every month containing the consolidated information related to Volume of transactions for each end point of the application and Count of exceptions/errors of each API.
